History:

* He worked in the city for most of his working life (18-23) in a dead end publishing job. It brought in the money for him to live comfortably to an extent but it never brought him happiness.
* His dog that he had from a puppy got ill after being stuck inside for so long, which was a definitely shock for him. As much as he was saving for them to have a big house with lots of space to run and play, he never got to it from him being stuck doing things for work.
* He finally bought the house in Pawsville and quit his job, moving to the town as a way for his best friend to spend the last years of his life comfortably. He was his only real friend since childhood (yes it was a very old dog)
* He never moved back to the city after falling in love with the town.
